Notice of suspension of classes

For the past 34 years, Hālau Hula Ka Noʻeau has strived to create a safe learning environment for all our stakeholders.  With the uncertainty of this Coronavirus Pandemic, we have decided to temporarily suspend all hula classes effective Tuesday, March 17 till the week of April 6.  At which time we will evaluate the current situation and make further decisions to best keep everyone safe.  

For me, hālau is my family and it is with a very heavy heart I endorse this temporary suspension of classes and request people to avoid gathering at the hālau during this crisis.  I would be remiss if I did not put your health before our classes. While I will miss seeing each and every one of our hauman, it is for the best and safety of us all. I am also hoping this decision will help ease everyone’s concerns with one less thing to worry about, and one less gathering to attend.
