‘Ilau Ka Hula 2025

What a truly unforgettable night! Our hālau was honored to participate in the inaugural ‘Ilau Ka Hula—a beautiful evening dedicated to hula, music, and community.

We joined ten other hālau in sharing moʻolelo through the timeless art of hula kahiko and hula ʻauana. It was a joy to dance “Misty Rains,” especially accompanied by the legendary voices of Robert Uluwehi Cazimero and Kuana Torres Kahele. Their live music added such depth and to the moment. We will for sure, carry that feeling with us for a long time.

From the ʻono food and local vendors to keiki activities and hula performances, ‘Ilau Ka Hula brought together generations in celebration of our culture. Mahalo to the organizers for creating such a special space for hula to thrive!
